You may have noticed a new banner at the front of the church, featuring those words. At their March meeting, members of the church voted unanimously to support this message and it is hoped that the banner will help to spread the word more widely. It is part of a campaign by churches and charities to ensure that issues of poverty and marginalisation are key priorities for all parties in the forthcoming General Election.

The campaign wants to ensure that the next Government is committed to:-
• urgent action to stop rising poverty;
• developing a coordinated, long-term plan to end UK poverty in collaboration with people with direct experience of poverty.
